The story
Brand van Egmond was founded in 1989. William Brand, founder and designer, graduated as an architect and sculptor from the Utrecht School of Arts, a pioneering artist with a passion for objects and design, whose intention is to create without constraints. A mix of appreciation for craftsmanship, a love of experimentation with new materials and techniques, and respect for times gone by results in atmospheric designs: handmade light sculptures that exude passion and character and leave a lasting impression.
